About Me

What’s up?

My name is Jacob Virtue. All the writings are mine and the pictures are taken by me too.

I have written these Poems, what I like to call Fictional Memoirs, Short Writings, and Short Stories for the purpose of setting a table for you to begin questioning certain things about life. I want these writings to bridge a gap between what we think we know and what we think about others and ourselves.

I have performed some of these in oratory fashion. My writings have been published on The Odyssey and Southgate.

I would love to hear from you and read something you have written. If you feel inclined to do that, please leave a comment below indicating that desire.

  1. As an artist, your blog’s ascetics are quite good. Frankly, I’m impressed. And the words of wisdom aren’t too shabby either. Keep up the good work.

  2. Definitely will use the books on the shelf to connect them to people and their closed communication. I’d love to collaborate on writing sometime! Can’t wait to read your blog. -the girl from starbucks! Haha

    • Alix, I’m so glad you are finding something worth your while! Please don’t hesitate to ask questions or just comment. I love feedback and always benefit from it. I found your blog to be very raw and unfiltered, which tells me that it is sincere. Please continue to be transparent, for if we are not transparent, we are deceiving not only to those listening, but to ourselves.

  3. Great writing. “A Poor Excuse” made me really ponder on what I am composed of and where I am in my relationship with God
