I’m Not Sure

I think often

When I’ve found a moment alone

To clear precautions

If only to find my own.

Still my own is lacking,

Hoping for a return of love.

Still my own is needing,

A thought from above.

Unsatisfied with the previous run,

I retrace my steps to start again.

But Coming to remember bridges burned,

Highlighting those I once called friend.

I often think

To find an emotional link,

Hoping that a certain feeling

Would finally bring me healing.

I’m not sure anymore,

Perhaps I just want to feel.

I’m not sure anymore,

I think I just want to heal.
